I had had a few extra-large knockdowns throughout the day, where I had needed to reach out and place my hand on the laptop to stop it from flying across the cabin, so I didn't think much when I felt Climate Action Now getting caught by a wave…….

I did not get a good wake up this morning, in-fact it was a rather alarming one (pun intended), where I was woken by the auto pilot alarm. It wasn’t the normal alarm, and it was showing no Auto pilot computer. At the time that the alarm tripped and my whole display lost its data…..

Well after the mellow conditions I have had for the last little while I was surprised to find the conditions almost completely different today when I went on deck at sunrise. I went to bed last night with 2 reefs in the mainsail, the storm jib, and the no 2 headsail which was half furled away………

Well, while it was sunny on deck the winds were still playing silly buggers and were continuing their full 360 degree rotation from the day before, so I ended up spending most of my morning on deck and adjusting the sails……

Well I am happy to say that I basically slept the whole day. It was amazing... I went back to bed after finishing up yesterday’s blog, I went right back to bed. The winds were holding steady, and I didn't need to get up for a micro plastic sample change. So far, I had only had a few short hours sleep……

Well today I am doing something a little different. I am writing this blog right as I woke up rather than as I went to sleep. After completing the blog yesterday, I decided to put the daylight hours to good use and get some more jobs done. The winds have been between 10 to 20 knots all day from the WNW and this made for a fairly flat deck. One of the biggest jobs that I had been putting off…..

In other news, I have just entered a section of ocean called Iceberg Alley. Sounds fun right... Well, the body of water between the South Georgia Island and the South Sandwich Islands is nicknamed Iceberg Alley, due to the often, high volume of Icebergs in this……..
