Happy Earth Hour everyone!  Even though I am in the middle of the ocean I have switched off all my lights.........

About an hour later, just as I was about to go below I caught sight of an odd off grey/white towery shape on the horizon.....

Most of last night I had winds of 10 knots so I decided to keep the No 1 jib out and the full main sail even though I was looking at going to bed.  I did end up setting a wind alarm on the B and G display to let me know if the winds were over 17 knots....

Fog and lots of it surrounded the boat. It was so dense that the visibility was reduced to below 500m........

I decided given that it has been a week now since Cape Horn and my storm that I would treat myself to a me day.......

I am currently sailing parallel to South Georgia Island and around 300nm to the North of it and will be passing what is nick named Iceberg Alley over the next 2 days........

Well after the trials and tribulations of yesterday it was nearing 5am when I was finally getting ready for bed.......

Last night was by far the coldest of the trip to date...  Burr...  It was so cold that when I went to bite into a mini mars bar I almost broke my teeth.........

Well its official.  I definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or should I say this afternoon...........

This lasted 30 seconds, then the alarms were blaring again.  I actually read the alarm this time.......
