Well today dawned with 5 to 7 knots of wind from the South.  Not a lot to move in.  I was hoping that it was a temporary change.....

Yesterday afternoon after I just finished my blog I was slammed out of nowhere with 40 knots of wind.  I had spent the whole day...........

What fun times I have been having drifting in the wind...  Or lack of wind...  After yesterday’s tiring day of listening to the auto pilot off course alarm going off I was so looking forward to a bit of sleep.....

Can’t say I have had much sleep with the winds at 40 knots though the night and dropping of to 5 knots at around 4am this morning......

So I decided that I would always use my journey to promote climate action for the positive.  Throughout my sailing and trying........

Well after yesterday’s big day today has been one focused on rest and relaxing.  There has been very little to be done on the sailing side so I slept in .........

About halfway through a massive wave cracked against the hull almost beam on with such force that the boat was instantly thrown sideways......

This morning started with some frustrating conditions.  Basically, the winds were coming from directly where I wanted to go.  I knew that there was to be a shift of the winds......

Well I hope you are getting some lovely weather around Australia right now.  I have been experiencing fairly consistent conditions….. even if they are variable there is a pattern to it.  I go from SW 12 knots and rolling around in the swell.....

Well after my indecision to shake a reef out yesterday after I emailed the blog home I needed to go on deck and put a gybe in.  while I was up there doing that, I noticed a nasty black cloud.
