Well there thankfully hasn't been much to report from my last blog.  My boat 'Climate Action Now' is merrily sailing away.  I still have 2 reefs in the main and I am sailing on the smaller jib.  I have this partially furled so it is also a bit smaller.

Well I still can't believe I am here sailing south...  This is three years in the making with so many hurdles and set backs to overcome.  There was also so much to get done in Albany that I never really got the chance to just sit and assimilate the challenge before me.  I was a constant blurr of energy going from one task to the next and now that I am at sea I still don't feel like I have left.

"I am so excited to be ready to go", she said. Lisa Blair, 32, intends to become the first woman and only the third person in history to circumnavigate Antarctica. Her voyage will also attempt to break the time record held by Russian Fedor KONYUKOV set in 2008.

Well it was a really successful trip apart from the fact the Lisa is still here and I am back in QLD.......... just a little hic cup.  I have watched Lisa work sooooo hard for 3 years solid towards this moment. She had set her goal and focused on nothing else.
