I then remembered that I had an important date today. I was having a satellite call with the Women Who Sail Australia (WWSA) group.....

Last night I was repeatedly woken by the boat getting shoved off course by the big swell.......

After I had a second to catch my breath I took stock of boat to see if there was any further damage done........

Yesterday, after getting the storm jib up, I didn’t end up going to bed until after midday so I decided to cat nap until late in the evening............

While we are discussing storms I just want to spare a thought for those who are suffering extreme weather with cyclone Debbie making landfall..........

I will also soon be past the highest iceberg risk.  I know that I talked about Iceberg Ally as the biggest risk............

When I got to the bow the turning block was just dangling there and the preventer line was caught on the bottom of the pull pit (the bow railing) leg, only the pull pit leg was no longer attached to the deck....
