Learning from the edge of the world

For more than nine years, Lisa has delivered free talks in schools, connecting kids with science and sustainability through adventure. Action Stations takes that further: a high-quality, curriculum-aligned program that places students in the role of real-world problem-solvers, linked directly to Lisa's live expedition data.

It will be free for every school, so a family's financial situation never limits a child's opportunity, and adaptable to different countries, languages and curricula.

What students will explore

Science

Microplastics & ocean chemistry

Sampling methods, food chains, pH, CO₂ and real results from Lisa's voyages.

Geography

Polar ecosystems, weather & ice

Food webs, rapid Arctic warming, and live buoy and weather data.

Life skills

Human resilience

Problem-solving, leadership and facing fear, drawn from Lisa's own challenges.

How it works

  • Live Q&As from the Arctic: 30–45 minute live-streamed sessions with Lisa during the voyage

  • Real-time data dashboard: sea temperature, air temperature, boat speed, currents and weather

  • Lesson packs: worksheets, slide decks and reflection sheets for teachers

  • Global access archive: every lesson recorded, so teachers in any time zone can use it
