Well what a contrast in conditions.  Yesterday saw me sailing in light winds and heavy fog and today has seen me sailing in 40 knots of wind and sheeting rain......

Through the night I had winds of 25-30 knots from the North.  From Bobs forecast I knew that the strongest winds would hit at around 6am.......

I am still sailing on the Campbell Plateau, this is the section of the Continental shelf to the South of New Zealand.  The depth here is an average of 600m.......

What fun times I have been having drifting in the wind...  Or lack of wind...  After yesterday’s tiring day of listening to the auto pilot off course alarm going off I was so looking forward to a bit of sleep.....

Can’t say I have had much sleep with the winds at 40 knots though the night and dropping of to 5 knots at around 4am this morning......
